92xj
count calories, try and stay around 1000 a day, eat a lot of small meals, drink tons of water, 70% of hunger is dehydration, elevated heart rate for a min. of 25 minutes a day, running, bike riding, or any other cardio excercise. OJR
Cut back on the "big" portions for food. Eat smaller meals. Stay away from bread, potatoes, corn and rice!
stevebeilgard
talk to a nutritionist. eat more vegetables and fruits. you can eat all the cubumbers, salad, tomatos, apples, oranges, cantalope, grapefruit, etc., all you want until you're stuffed, and there's not a calorie in it. stay away from mcdonalds and all the fast food "blubber on a bun" places. then just keep exercising and in 3 months you'll be to weight. eat butter, not margerine. your diet is much more important than your exercise program. eat meat you shot, not bought. your kill ate all natural foods with no "growth hormones" added. don't eat anything out of a can. if you learn what goes into your mouth, you'll know why things tend to settle in your gut/butt. Tominator
your diet is much more important than your exercise program. Right there it is. Watched a show on PBS that took average joe's and turned them into marathon runners. These people went from sedentary lifestyles to running tons of miles every day. Only one of the 15 or so runners lost any weight of substance, and it was all because they kept their eating habits the same. My doctor told me the same thing. Exercise will help keep you at your weight, but isn't real effective at helping you lose weight. Great lesson for me. It's your calorie intake, not your level of exercise. It's all about lifestyle changes. I'm 4 months into mine, hoping to stick with it. I'm losing a pound a week. I'm down to 243 this week. I started at 256 back in January. Good luck. If I can do it, anyone can.
camoman1
I lost some weight a few years back, too bad most of it came back. I stopped eating red meat for a while, except for venison, because its probably the healthiest meat you can eat. I also exercised fairly regularly...gotta get that heart rate up. You gotta burn more calories than you take in.
