Flintlock1776
6 small onions, chopped 1 bay leaf ½ cup chopped celery 2 tsp. salt 2 cups diced carrots 3 raw potatoes, cut up 3 tbs. flour 1 tbs. chopped parsley. Clean rascally wabbit and soak in salted water. Drain, disjoint it in pieces for serving and place in a large kettle with onions, bay leaf, celery and salt. Cover with cold water and cook slowly until tender, about two hours. Add chopped carrots and potatoes and continue cooking until these vegetables are done. Smooth flour with a little cold water and add slowly. When thickened, add chopped parsley and serve. Nice pic by the way Edited April 19, 2009 by Flintlock1776

Dakota
Awww...we rescued a lil' fella just like those a couple of years ago when the nest was run over by a lawn mower. We raised him for about 3 months (absolutely adored apple cinnamon cheerios...because, of course, they eat them all the time in the wild ) and then let him go in the backyard. He was small and rejected by other bunnies at first, but then he grew big (we think he was mixed cottontail/jackrabbit/domesticated rabbit) and all the cats in the neighborhood wouldn't go near him! He was the patriarch of the group for sure. Neat pics, Charles! They sure are fun to have around! Dakota
