HUNTIN FOOL
Imagine the perfect turkey morning. That is what I had yesterday here in Va. Before I could even get my decoys out and set up in the blind I heard two toms talking to each other so once I was set up I began conversating with the both of them. After about 20 mins of talking I could here them getting closer at a rapid speed, so I put down my slate and got my gun up and ready , when I had the birds in sight I knew they were heading straight to my decoys when out of the blue I hear shot from across the feild at me the birds run off and I got up to investigate who was huntin on the private property that shouldn't be.Come to find out there was a trepasser on the property so instead of bagging a nice tom I got to spend the day trying to find where the idiot came from very frustrating day. Rhino
I'd be livid too! Can't believe a trespasser would take a shot at those birds if he saw your decoys out in front of your blind on the other side of the field. That idiot had to know he was going to get caught if he tried to retrieve a dead bird.
Bowtech_archer07
That stinks man. I know a guy that had his hunt ruined yesterday by a mushroom hunter that jumped the fence when he had a bird 100 yards away. I hate trespassers. Hope you find out where he came from and he never comes back!
Flintlock1776
Too bad you did not catch him. I had that happen once on my land but I got him busted! Better luck next time!

EKYhunter
Unfortunately, I've got one even better. About 5 years ago my buddy and I were set up out on the end of a very long point on some strip mine property. The point had been stripped, so it was flat with a old haul/service road running out it. We were in the double bull with decoys set up in the road. This road was overgrown in places with trees and brush, but clear in other place which made it a turkey strut zone/highway. Well shortly after daylight, we've got some birds gobbling off in the distance heading our way. Suddenly we hear something. Sounds like a truck coming. Can't be. We're parked way back out at the main road where the point starts and no body would be dumb enough to drive out this overgrown road, this early (7:15am) during turkey season! Well.......sure enough here come two idiots in a toyota tacoma, driving out the road, actually driving through the decoys!!!!!! They get out just past us and start calling to locate a bird!!! True story. I got out of the blind and asked them to leave and they grudingly did so but man, how dumb can ya get? Oh yeah....they admitted to seeing the decoys and driving through them anyway So I feel your pain and wish you better luck tommorow!
camoman1
That sucks, sure do hope you find out who it was!! Had some problems on the property I hunt on too the past two years. Walked in the woods one day to find a fresh blood trail and a drag mark to the neighbors house. He let his buddies kid hunt in his 'woods' behind his house. which would have been fine if they stayed on their HALF ACRE of woods!! Also had a buck poached from the road two years back. Seems like things like this are becoming more common everywhere.
