hutchies
More than likely you were heeling the bow. It's where the lower part of your palm is applying enough pressure to where it kicks the bow up when you shoot.
The_Kat
Well see what happens in the morning when I shoot.

The_Kat
found out that my fall away string had twisted in my cables. It wasn't allow it to fall away 100% and I was getting fletching contact. Still gotta fix it before I can start shooting it again.
Gator
I'm not a pro on tuning by any means, but if you are getting fletching contact, why was that pushing your arrow up? Seems to me it would make it kick down.....
The_Kat
Good question....I too wondered the same thing. My thinking is this though........if it isn't falling completely away, it could be coming out of the rest deflected completely from point to knock if ya follow what I'm saying..... I'm gonna get it fixed later this week, so we'll know for sure.
Gator
The only way I see you hitting high is that the rest is HIGHER at draw than normal, but I don't know how that could happen. If it is like you say, it will STILL hit lower is what I am thinking. Do this, nock an arrow, lift your rest up by hand, and hold the bow in front of you. See if youe arrow is centered on your berger hole, and see that your nock point hasn't lowered somehow. Then draw the bow and have someone check your arrow to your berger hole and see what it looks like Edited April 23, 2009 by Gator
JAG
i was having problems and Darrell at Coyote Bluff paper tuned it for me... he measured a bunch of things, had to correct my rest just a smidge.... its perfect now.. (except the shooter) (i shoot a NAP Smartrest dropaway)
