RangerClay
My Dad was cleaning out our Grandmothers house for it to be sold. While digging through the attic he found his old bow. Since he does not bow hunt, he decided give it to me. It's a 1968 Bear, Bearcat and it is in excellent condition. I'm going to have a new rest and string installed. Guess I'm going to give this old school stuff a try.

RangerClay
That's pretty neat Joe. It looks like it's in great shape yet. Did he ever hunt with it? Yes! He shot a doe and lost it. After that he didn't care much for bowhunting and gave it up. Its been on a shelf since then.

Strut10
Great heirloom!!!! Be sure to check the laminations very thoroughly for separation, as attics can get pretty hot and do bad things to bows.
Adjam5
Wow! Joe...what a heirloom to be handed! That is a beautiful old bow. Enjoy it and good luck with it. Better watch out...the traditional bug is gonna bite ya:D...Before ya know it the new fangled bow with wheels will be sitting home:). Do you know what the draw and poundage is? RangerClay
Do you know what the draw and poundage is? 35# is written on the side with the serial number.
Arkansas Boy
35# is written on the side with the serial number. that's the problem i have with mine. both are 36# and bows have to be 40# to hunt with in arkansas
