Guest TennesseeTurkey
I roosted a bird yesterday evening, hoping he would cooperate beacuse I was calling for my wife's uncle who is the pastor of our church. I think I did pretty good ....... I set up in the exzact spotI killed my first bird last year. Got there before daylight got set up and he started gobbling 80 yards away. We were up the hill from him and I know he wasnt going downhill so there was only one way he was going straight to us ....Well after some owls hooting each other fired him up I hit him with a little tree call, he saw b mobile hit the dirt and came on a string ....He's got a 11 1/2 in bear and 1 1/4 in spurs and Im just guessing but Id say he weighed 20-21 pounds... Great morning to be in the turkey woods
