c_lou
I am glad the Packers did not take Crabtree. The offense was not the problem. TT finally got it right this time. To totally ignore the needs on the defense would have been a HUGE mistake. They got guys who can come in and make an impact this year. I think Dom Capers must have been running this draft because this was not a typical Thompson draft:D...giving up draft picks, now that is unheard of:eek:. Overall so far for the Pack I would give them a B+/A- It can't be said any better than that. I was shocked:eek::eek: when I heard that TT traded back into the 1st round. muggs
Seriously? Wow, you guys have got to be kidding me. Taking a linebacker with the first overall pick is a disaster. If someone would have drafted Patrick Willis first overall, would that have been a disaster? When you can't defend, can't run, can't stop the run, can't pressure their QB, and can't protect your QB...it doesn't matter who your QB is. I would have went with a LT there. I agree, I'm not 100% sold on Curry either, but he's a much safer pick than Stafford and him and Ernie Sims would make a great pair.
