hoythunter37
Picking out some new arrows. After graduation I plan on instead of buying a new truck and to try and save up some money I am going to get myself some graduation gifts to myself. I plan on buying a new Sword Twilight Hunter(camo and .019 pins), a new QAD Drop Away rest, and get some carbon arrows. I am need of some help picking out the carbon arrows. Ever since I started bow hunting I have shot aluminum arrows. I was just wondering if you all had any suggestions on which carbons to get or recommend. Or if you have any suggestions on the rest for that matter. I have a 28" Draw and 65#. Thank you all for the help!! preacherman
I'll throw out a different opinion here.... Easton Full Metal Jackets. I like these as well, Rhine! Great arrow!
Washi
I agree on the FMJ's or the regular Axis or the Beman version of the Axis. The Beman are just as good but a little cheaper. I also like Carbon Express Maxima's or even the Terminator Lite's. I shot both Carbon Express CX300's and Gold Tip XT Hunter's for a while and found both to be fragile compared to the Axis or Maxima's. The Easton Full Metal Jackets are the toughest arrows I've ever shot, with the Axis and Beman Black Max being a very close second.
Arkansas Boy
Well my girlfriend shoots Easton Axis My Dad shoots Beaman ICS Hunter Carbon Express Maxima Hunter's are good arrows from what I have heard and I shoot their bolts out of my crossbow. They carry a hefty price tag though I shot Gold Tips last year and will be shooting PSE Radial X-Weave Pros
Whitetail Freak Hunter
I will second the Easton Axis FMJ - The best of both worlds as far as arrow shafts.
