just wanted to say hey to everyone and see whats up on this forum. Of coarse im a hunting freak like 99.9% of everyone here im sure:D

little about my self...

I'm a 29 year old born and raised a farmboy in Va. Between me and my dad we farm about 1100 acres(corn-wheat-soybeans) which isnt much but its enough for us. I work part time as a Deputy in my county also. But I eat and sleep hunting... my wife wonders if I just married her to watch our kids while im hunting:p

ive got quite a collection of deer heads from a total of 7 wall mounts to 21 board mounts. Smallest scores 120 and the biggest is 166B&C

Turkey season just opened here on the 11th. I tagged out today with my 3 bird in 4 days. Ill post more on that story in the turkey section. But he had 1 5/16ths spurs which is my biggest of my life. bbd093b.jpg

anywayz, im surfing the other section here.. anyone else from Va happen to post here?

hope everyones having a good turkey season so far also

thanks again everyone... its gonna take sometime to catch up on the posts here!

I see its quite a few Hoyt guys here also;) I have Hoyt Vectrix for bowseason. I love the feel of that bow!

Jeremy, I wish i lived in your state. Va has some good bucks, but its hard to find anything above the 135 class. We just cant get the mass here. Its a few good bucks around but they are few and far between.

he lost his head;) its there, just a bad angle and the yard grass needs to be cut! Its hard to hunt and house chores done but now I have some free time.

Hunt, thanks for the offer man! Ive got plenty land to hunt here, but the problem is finding land where everyone else isnt on so its actaully come mature bucks there.

Hammer, Im about 1.5 hours northeast of Richmond. Im in Richmond County which is right across the river from Tappahannock if you know where thats at. Out on the Northern Neck. Its the middle of nowhere which is good in ways
