Turkey Decoy-Homemade

Not 100% homemade but pretty close. I had an older molded head jake decoy that looked really rough. So after I got my turkey this year, I decided to skin it and attach the skin to the old deek. Spray foam insulation was used to fill the cavity and the skin was attached with vinyl adhesive. Taped an old jake beard to a nail and pushed it into the foam for the beard. The tail is that of the decoy. The decoy's legs are 3/4 pvc. I used a pvc "T" to attach the legs to a square piece of plywood. I then attached the plywood to a "lazy susan" for motion. There is about 20 yards of string attached so I can control when the deek moves. We are going to give "TK" (tom killer) a try this weekend. Hopefully I can provide pics of the victims... on to the deek.
