Guest Xen
well, i purchased a new pistol a couple of weeks back - the Styer S-40. It is a small version of the M-40, great pistol, .40 cal, they also make a 9mm in the S series. Great sights, love the triangle/trapezoid, has a nice grip, come up and sights very easy. low muzzle jump and a pretty good looking gun. looks a lot like the Glock, in fact, an engineer that worked for Glock designed this gun and took the design to Styer - the web pages is in Austrian, but you can check it out at least Steyr-Mannlicher
WNY_Whitetailer
Re: New Pistol Is that an M series pistol or an M-A1 series pistol? They're both sharp...Just curious. Let us know how it shoots...BTW, you can click on the US flag in the upper right hand corner of the webpage to get it in English.

Guest Xen
Re: New Pistol thing shoots very well. I am not a great pistol shot by any means, but I can go through a 10 roung mag in 5 seconds, and that is fully recovering after the shot/muzzle jump and aiming, etc. all shots hitting inside a 5" circle at 25 feet - again, keep in mind, i don't shoot a pistol very much, so I am sure some of you guys could do that with anything, but it was very easy for me to recover after each shot. mine is the S series, the M series is the same gun, just the next size up, but everything I have heard about the M is good, except for the m-357, for some reason it sucks and styer only makes it by request now. dunno why, but it has some gremlins in it, they don't even make the .357 in the s series, just the 9mm and .40 cal. - the S-40 has less muzzle-jump than my Beretta 92fs (9mm), but it is a lot louder, makes my wife jump every time i shoot
