I started Coyote hunting this year after deer season and froze my butt off hunting @ night 0 kills, saw (2). I decided to pick up the rifle a couple weeks ago when the warm weather hit. Hunted 4 evenings the last 2 weeks, killed 5 coyotes and saw about 11. That leads me to believe if you are not hunting for pelts the spring is a great time to hunt. Have had my best luck in the mornings right after it gets light, however I have called in a few in the afternoons. Not legal to hunt them here at night.
