Rem. 1100 12 Gauge with rifled sights(true glow) and a smoothe bore, and Brennekes.

I lost count how many deer have fallen to shotguns for me. In Wisconsin, you can group hunt, and shoot to fill peoples tags in the group, if they desire. I hunt with a group who meat hunts, and they don't care who does the shooting, as long as they get some meat out of it!

Most of the southern half of NY is required to use a shotgun. The northern half can use a rifle.

For the past 23 years of deer hunting I have used a 16 Ga. Remington 1100. When my eye sight started to fail me a little I purchased a red dot scope. Man that thing is awesome. I use Brenneke 1 oz. slugs. I plan to use this set-up till they pry my cold dead hands.

i use a Remington 1100 with a rifled barrel. I have a bushnell holosight on it.

H&R Ultra Slug Hunter in .12ga. Heavy barrell, 3-9 x 40 Bushnell Sportview scope. Very heavy, but very accurate....

I use an old browning A-5 20ga for deer, here in Illinois. taken over 50 deer with...it brings home the meat for me.

h&r ultra sluggun, & federal barnes 2 3/4 expanders. very acurate. longest shot i've taken so far has been 160yds.( that is a measured distant, not a guess) .hit her in the boiler maker. never took another step......

I killed a couple with my Benelli using slugs.I killed my very 1st deer with a 20ga sidexside.

Can't shoot'em with a rifle but I can use a ml, slug gun or pistol. I use all three...My slug gun is a H&R 1871 Ultra Slugger in 12GA...Deadly out to and beyond 100 yards. I usually don't have a shot beyond that anyway.
