toddyboman
With all the bad news floating around and we all have some; I thought I would post some good news.... . . . . Its good to be alive today. It was great to be able to turkey hunt this morning....even thought the birds did cooperate. I sure was happy to find those 2 mushrooms on my walk back to the truck. Might need to look for more later. Glad I got to work today. And I can't wait to go home and walk in the door and have my 2 little ones run to me scramming Daddy's home. I know it's hard and we often only focus on the bad/crappy things that are going on in our lives....and lately there is plenty.....but lots also not forget the great and sometimes simple things are are GREAT in our lives. :):)

NS whitetail
I hear ya todd every morning that I am up at 4 am to head out lobster fishing, I write a little note and draw a picture for my 4 1/2 year old son, I then slip it under his bedroom door before I leave. My wife says his face lights up every morning and when I get home he comes running
Tominator
Absolutely! I've been swamped in bad news of late, but you know what? I got to put my feet on the floor this morning, so I guess it's not all bad, eh?

The_Kat
I too have good news. My dad is home from the hospital. I didn't wanna post in here due to all the bad news going on so I kept it to myself, but dad collapsed at work with chest pain and was sent to the hospital by ambulance for heart attack. Well after a few days in the hospital they ruled out a heart attack, and a CT scan ruled out anything in his head. He is feeling much better and is home now. He goes to a specialist next week for a stress test. So it coulda been much worse.

WIwhitetailhunter
Every morning I wake up is a sign things are good! One thing I've found is that if I'm feeling down all I need to do is watch or read the news. Somewhere someone is a whole lot worse off then me.
