OJR
A word of caution! If you are going to be using a GPS, some states don't allow you to have it mounted on the windshield. You have to just have it on the dash!

OJR
I know Minnesota is one and I am not sure about Iowa. I bought one of those "donut" deals for the dash with the mount on a suction cup! It works great! I got it at Cabela's for about $20.00.
92xj
If i pass a cabelas I will have to stop and pick one up. Its a little too late for me to order one. Well I guess its not to late to order just too late to get it shipped:D I will not be going through minn so I will not have to worry there. Iowa I will be, hopefully I will remember to take it down, if not, I will post the pics of the ticket.
92xj
Well everyone I am all packed up. I have all my clothes, electronics, and computer up front in the cab with me. I was able to get my fourhwheeler, 3 fishing rods, tackle box, chains, jack, a case of water and my bow in the bed. And in the tool box I have some hunting stuff, jackets, and all my boots and shoes. Anyhow, here are the final pics before I get on the road in the morning. May good thoughts be with me for the next week. If anybody sees me be sure to wave or flag me down. Shaun_300
Looks like that ole Yota has a full load! Have a safe trip buddy, drive safe.
OJR
Looks like you need to tie something on the front of the four-wheeler to hold it down on the tool box. It looks like the wind could flip right over and out of the box! Have a good safe trip!

It looks like the wind could flip right over and out of the box! Have a good safe trip! I have traveled like this plenty of times before, If my truck makes it fast enough to create enough wind to pick the fourwheeler up I will have bigger problems than the fourwheeler coming out of the bed. OJR
LOL!! I bet you haven't gone through some mountain passes and the wind is blowing 60mph! I just happened to see where Cabela's lists only Minnesota and California for the windshield mounts as being illegal!
92xj
Sweet, thanks for checking into that. I will not be passing through those states so I should be good to go. Also if I find enough wind to blow that thing out of the back I will be sure to post pics, sounds like a great photo opp.

92xj
leaving NC:( Welcome to...... Well it was now around lunch time on my first day on the road so I decided to head up to meet William(kentuckyTurkey). These pics are from a lookout he took me too while I was in town. The mountains there reminded me so much of my college town and I am going to miss it big time. Anyhow on to the pics.... Yeah we would make an awesome "Big and tall" commercial!!!!!! Thanks for the great times Will!!!!! Leaving Will and heading to Indiana to stay the night and meet Casey. The first and only wreck I have seen so far. The guy had a coffee table and chair on his trailer and it randomly caught fire so he pulled over and kicked them off the trailer and waited for the firetrucks... more pics to come later....
