92xj
Holy cow its over:( I wish I could afford to just keep driving. Montana is the most amazing state I went through. I am now in Richland Washington getting settled into a friends parents house for a week or two before I get an apartment. The trip went great, had no troubles at all. I totaled 3178 miles in 51 hours and 38 minutes. My mpg average was 17.9 so thats no too bad considering the load of the truck and the sail I had in the back. I have posted the rest of the pics in the photobucket album but will try and get some posted on here in a minute. I will also try and get a full write up of the journey done sometime this weekend. thanks again for the good thoughts and prayers.....pics on the way. OJR
Glad to see you have arrived! I agree with some beautiful country. Most of the people back "east" don't realize what the "west" really looks like! Now, just keep in mind, you are welcome to house anytime. Just give us a heads up so we can plan accordingly! 92xj
Thanks for all the great words. I am kinda nervous about tomorrow but think everything will go just fine. I will let yall know what goes on. I spent all weekend driving around and looking for apartments, so hopefully in the next two weeks I will be able to get out of my friends parents house and find my own place. OJR- how far from Richland are you? We will have to plan something in the near future.

92xj
Amazing....thats all I can say. I started my new job on Monday the 18th. The first week went really well. This weekend has been insane. I went and signed a lease on an apartment that I move into June 12th. Since all I had to move across the country with was my toyota I did not bring any furniture. Today I went out and bought a bedroom set, couch, recliner, tv stand, end table, and everything I need for my kitchen. 3000 bucks later I have everything I need including a mattress and box spring. I am set for my move in date. This coming firday I am going to try and get my washington drivers license and then a hunting and fishing license. The place I am staying at has very spotty internet so I drove to a hotel paaking lot to check in and post whats going on. So far this city is pretty cool. I have met some decent people and the chick that works ar the apartment place was awesome, and hopefully will be hanging out with her sometime this week. Anyhow, hope everyone is well and I will try and get back on soon. I know as soon as I get my apartment I will be back a lot more. I have just been so insanely busy that when I get home from work there is no much to do and then bedtime. Hope everyone is well and will talk to yall soon. Oh yeah, I have heard about 17 million times "you have an accent" "where are you from" "whats it like there" they act like the south is a different country. The chicks dig the "accent"....... -Ben
