Shaun_300
That's awesome Ben, glad everything is going well for you! I get that accent comment everytime I venture out of Ontario. Actually get it even if I go down into southern Ontario. I guess we have the "Ottawa Valley accent."
OJR
LOL about the "southern accent"! I have spent several hours today with a guy from Mississippi and another one from Georgia! Those two could understand each other just fine, but I had to have them repeat themselves many times! LOL!

OJR
Looks great. I picked up the new fishing reg's today. My grandson will be coming for the summer and he might want to go fishing. The California quail are all over this area. You need a bunch of them for a meal. Not as many as doves though! LOL!! Coyotes are all over also! Good luck! Is dove hunting big out here? I have not heard to much talk of dove huning here like I have heard quail and pheasant. Dove hunting is huge where I am from and I would love to be able to continue to do it out here if I can find some place to hunt. Where in relation to Richland do you fish? Once I move into my apartment on the 12th and I going to go and get my washington driver's license and then get my hunting and fishing license. I have seen a couple of people fishing out on the Columbia this week and cant wait to get out and try. I will have to bank fish for now, since I could not bring my boat out with me : (

As to getting your license, you have to be a resident for 90 days. Otherwise, you have to buy an out-of-state license and it is crazy on the cost. I don't have a clue about fishing around Richland. Fishing in the Columbia is a different story. You can fish for walleye, trout, steelhead, salmon, bass and other things. Lots of fishing there. Pick up a set of reg's for fishing and big game hunting. If you can understand them, you will have to come over here and explain them to me! LOL! Have fun!:)
stevebeilgard
better get yourself a bb gun. those gambles quail taste great. in the '60's i lived on the edge of a town where lots of quail were. i'd shoot one every few weeks. they are just like a rock cornish game hen...mmmmm. oops... not exactly legal so don't do it.... Have fun!:) Dang, that stinks about the license but oh well, I guess I will just buy an out of state Fishing License for now and then wait til September 12th to buy hunting, unless seasons start before that. I have not looked at reg books yet, but will be shortly. My apartment backs up to the Yakima, which I hear you can fish in but they dont suggest eating the fish in it. Also the Columbia is about a half mile from my apartment. Also is pretty much runs right through downtown Richland so I will be fishing it a lot. better get yourself a bb gun. those gambles quail taste great. in the '60's i lived on the edge of a town where lots of quail were. i'd shoot one every few weeks. they are just like a rock cornish game hen...mmmmm. oops... not exactly legal so don't do it.... These birds have no idea that the lady I am staying with is saving their lifes. If I was at this location living by myself, my freezer would already be full. Great to hear it is all working out for you Benny!!! I couldn't be happier for ya... How bad did you want to drill that yote? While I was standing in the driveway taking pictures of him, the 22-250 was banging on the door and windows trying to get out, but I figured since it was 6:05 in the morning the neighbors here would not have liked that too much. Congrats on the apartment.. great pics.. and don't forget to text or PM your address once your moved in!! Hope things go smoothly with the move in too!! 10-4, move in date is the 12th, so I hope to be in and settled on the 13th. Will let you know:)

92xj
I took the camera to work today to take some pics of the new office to show yall. A little different from the shop setting I worked in the last 5 years, but it pays 4 times the amount and I am having a lot of fun.... this is where all my bad ideas go, as you can see the lady just came for the third time today because it was overflowing.... Got home and realized I needed to go for a drive and clear my head so I took the cam with me and got a couple of pics.... as you can tell, the sunsets here are pretty amazing and I love taking pics of it often. Yall are most likely getting sick of seeing the dang sun go down, haha.
OJR
Great sunsets! Wait until this fall when there is more dust in the air. You will really see some spectacular sights!

92xj
Well, I finally got settled into the new apartment this weekend and just now got around to taking some pics of the place. So here it is. I also got some arrows wrapped and fletched tonight so I added those pics as well.... oh yeah, the apartment was designed for handicapped folks, so I get sweet hand holds in the shower and 3'6" doors everywhere picked up off the side of the road 3 days ago... Yes, you saw right, they are hot pink.... A wine bottle holder for a guy that doesnt drink wine, hmmmm........ sorry for all the boring pics of furniture, my family is keeping track of this thread and momma wanted to see the whole new apartment.... anyhow, this is where i live now. Outside pics to come later.
