jesse8953 Posted May 5, 2009 Report Share Posted May 5, 2009 I can't seem to call in a tom:mad:.Every time I call I get hens to come to me and they are pretty loud and vocal,but no toms will even answer me.Am I doing something wrong:confused:? fly Posted May 5, 2009 Report Share Posted May 5, 2009 If you are calling hens to you then you are calling well. The Toms will come if there are any. You may need to add a jake call/decoy to get the Toms to come those final yards. My experience with Toms is that they shut up once they get within 50-100 yards and start strutting waiting for the hens to come to them.
