Lion Attack

Glad the dog is going to pull through.

More and more we are hearing about predator attacks in Ca. One would think predator numbers have to be going up and the state still opposes any kind of controlled hunting:confused:

I guess that's the way it will stay until some unfortunate kid of a movie star or high ranking politician is attacked.

This is exactly the kind of thing that the animal rights wackos applaud. Their philosophy: hopefully this will keep humans out of the habitat of nature's serene and peaceful creatures. Seriously, these idiots value the animals over humans and gladly welcome a fatality or two as a discouragement to humans from entering the environment of the animals. It seems to be even more prevalent in the land of fruits and nuts. It's a situation that Californians have accepted and even encouraged through apathy and their attitudes of arrogance and self promoted superiority and intellect. They have let these wacko flower-children take over their government and pretty much deserve any of these crazy situations that develop.

However, don't think for a minute that such ridiculous attitudes and situations are solely the characteristics of Californians alone. Such nonsense is spreading across the country, and we all have a bunch of these idiots taking advantage of our apathy, and it's just a matter of time before we too allow this silliness to take over each of our state's game management activities.

Yep. Look at what wildlife ballot voting has done for Oregon. Don't you think we should let our bio's who go to school and get paid to study our wildlife actually manage them?

Glad the pup is going to pull through-see what happens when predators do not fear man from lack of hunting?.......

totally agree with you. its getting to be the same way up here in minnesota only with wolves. there hasnt been any aggressive attacks on humans yet that i know of, but they definately feel safe even when around houses and people.

just the other day in our paper there was a story about people in duluth (30 miles from our house) who have been reporting more and more wolf sightings in town but see it more as a cool sight rather than a danger. wait till one of them grabs a dog or cat or maybe even a child.
