I've been picking them up for years. Nice tallahatta quartzite that is unique to this area. Used to go out and spend all day walking the creeks, or digging, but not so much anymore. Last time I went to my honeyhole though I had my best day ever. I'll post some pics if i have time.:)

Now that's funny Luke. Here's what I came up with on my last trip to the creek. Neat top of a vase that had a hole in it to hang from a rope, or so i would imagine. I pick up lots of pieces with zigzag designs or fingernail impressions in them.

They're everywhere if you just keep looking down. I'll post some of my nicer things but they currently reside in boxes in the bottom of my man closet, (more like man hole, lol). One of them closets if i open the door i have to make sure i dont get an avalanche of ammo and guns on top of me.

I've never personally went looking for them, but when my Mom and Dad were younger..... they would go on hunts for them together and find lots of them! There is a box of them somewhere in this house and if I manage to find it I will be sure to take some pictures. :D
