dsharp01 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 I knew it was going to be blowing pretty hard this morn but just had to get out. I went where i roosted one the other nite and everything looked good. But when it got light, he sounded off on the other side of the hill on POSTED land. I called to him for a little over an hour but nothing. When the winds started to increase I decided to pack it in and try again on Monday morn. Its gonna be cool but I found alot of sign and if the wind goes away I think they will return. So I'm being optomistic but it's all I got right now. I stayed in bed this morning....glad I did....bitter out with the wind. I'll be out though tomorrow morning, might try and roost the bird tonight. They'll be back....after yesterday and today...I would think despite the cool temps, with the sun and calmer wind, they'll be talking.
