wtnhunt
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms Thought you were going with a fall planting? The clovers in our grower mix have done pretty well. Hope to see the trefoil really take off this spring.

Guest MarylandQDMA
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms I went with the grower mix. I will hold true with planting the rr soybeans this spring and the grower mix in the fall (end of augest/begening of sept.). Frank edit: if all goes well I will try the winter anual seed next fall. dogdoc
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms I don't know how Martin feels about this but I would strongly recommend planting some wheat and oats with that grower mix--I think we already talked about this but can't remember! todd
wtnhunt
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms Yep, have to agree with Todd here. Another option would be winter rye. The deer and turkeys will wear it out and it comes in very quick. I planted rye grass with my grower mix. Martin when I talked with him about the rye prior to planting said it would be fine, would think the wheat or oats would also be fine. VermontHunter
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms Ordered my growers mix from Martin, and should arrive Friday can't wait....Martin is so easy to deal with and won't let you purchase anything until he knows that you are getting the right product...I love this aspect of buying from Hamann Farms they go the extra distance to be sure you get what will work for your area and climate...KUDO'S to Hamann Farms.. Ravin R10 man
Re: Thanks Hamann Farms AWWWWWWWWW...shucks guy's, its just fun talkin with ya and helping you get your land to hold deer. By the way, over seeding can be done with all blends except the winter blend.
