wtnhunt
The top plastic tab on our stealth cam broke and so now it is letting moisture in . I pulled it and am trying to figure out how I can get it to seal better. Anyone have any ideas .
dogdoc
Re: sealing the cam maybe a strip of silicone? I'm having a hard time pictureing what broke? The seal or actually the top part of the housing?
JimT
Re: sealing the cam I would just put one of those cheap ratchet like clamps on it. You could get one at WalMart or Home Depot for next to nothing I would bet.

[/ QUOTE ] Todd, you know the two little tabs on hte side of the camera that you have to push in to open the camera door. The top one of those broke. I thought about a bead of silicone and may try that. Also thought about maybe some weatherstrip tape cut down maybe, but not sure.

TreeWalker
Re: sealing the cam Contact Stealth.......they may just warranty it. I've got one of my cameras that the plastic loops, that the mounting belt slide through, broke.......I'll be calling them in the morning, see if they will cover it.... wtnhunt
Re: sealing the cam It is over a year old, doubt they would warranty it. Might just do like Jim suggested and use some sort of a clamp on the top of it to hold it tight.
