Leo
Not the mommy but a relative. This is Fizz wearing her Iditarod gear. These dogs are lean, athletic and very strong. Not the "pudge-poof" coach potato dogs we see on TV. The dogs that really run the Iditarod don't fit what the majority of us have been lead to believe they look like. These dogs are real athletes. BTW, Kathleen. How's Chico doing? I really hope he's all right.
woolybear
The dogs that really run the Iditarod don't fit what the majority of us have been lead to believe they look like. Good looking pup. Most I've seen put in the public eye either seem timid or playfull up to gameday. But once the snowshoes go on, them darn things are all bussiness. Wonder what it takes to be a lead dog? Amazing creatures to say the least!

Leo
I guess I need to make it more clear. This is not my dog! It really is one of the pups being raised for the Iditarod. Mary and I went to the summer training grounds when we were visiting Kathleen last summer. This pup has a real chance of being in the race. No joke.
