Mathews homer! :D :D The mass weight on the Alphamax is less than the mass weight on the Switchback or the Monster.....;):D :D

As for hand shock, not real sure what you where experiencing there with the AM, mine has zero. Along the same line though, Chris' Switchback XT has zero hand shock as well.

Agreed, the AM is much lighter. Look up the stats on their websites. If I had a gripe about the AM actually it would be that it's too light. I need a heavy bow to steady myself. You are the first or second person I've heard say something about handshock. Yet comparitively ( spelling? ) I have heard almost everyone who shot the Reezen say it had handshock. Remember we are comparing the AM to the Reezen. I've shot the switchback and it's a super bow no doubt. My main problem with Mathews in general is simply that fat grip. But just to save hurt feelings for some of you Mathews shooters I agree that Mathews makes quality bows and for some it's the only way to go. I've shot Mathews since I was 15. My mathews did me well. I just never had the sense or desire to shoot hoyt, and once I did the rest was history. I never said Mathews was crap, I simply said Hoyt was better :D.

The first bow I ever shot was a Hoyt. It was a good beginner bow, but we I got "serious", I got a Mathews:p:D
