mitrrophybowhunter
Ok people I need some help. I have tried every release out their that wraps around the wrist and they do not fit with my scent blocker gloves on!!!! I must be a freak or something! I am not found of the carters for hunting situations. What do you big wristed people use? I have been interested in the WINN but have to get the SS because I shoot a D loop. I also have been wondering about the Scott Archery grip release. Let me know. Thanks. Your freaky friend in the woods. Phil
dartonman
Re: A release for those with big wrists!!!!!! Phil, I have a tru ball release, a tornado I believe, and I fit it on the wrist, with no glove/skin to release contact, I then spray it with scentkiller.....this has worked for me, and I rather feel the tug of a good fit when pulling back, than slipping the glove off during the pull back...you may wish to look into a release that doesnt attach to you, TONY, who is usually in the Competition Archery forum shoots I believe a "back tension" release...highly accurate, and TONY is extremely informative, also Handgunner if TONY isnt around....hope this helps buddy....al
MCH
Re: A release for those with big wrists!!!!!! I've got the scent blocker gloves with the shooter finger. My Scott Little Goose velcro strap barely fits over them, but it still does the job. Before the this one, I used the buckle strap Little Goose, and it had room to spare. You might try it. longislandhunter
Re: A release for those with big wrists!!!!!! I use the Winn over my gloves and have never had a problem, and I love the release, although I don't have very large wrists. If worse came to worse perhaps you could simply sew on an "extension" of velcro, they sell it all over in different shapes and sizes. Just a suggestion.
