Tink
Tred Barta the self styled Traditional Expert is very ill and paralyzed from the waist down as a result of a stroke near his spine. Tred has a strong will and lots of grit and determination. That kind of stroke has a bout 25% mortality and prognosis isn't looking good Lets pray for Tred. No one deserves this. Tred caught more Tuna on the East Coast on his tuna boat that any man in history.

Turkeygirl
Aaawww...poor guy...I saw his shows on TV...I know some didn't like him...some did...I kind of liked him because he was just an honest outdoor guy...wasn't all caught up in the whole thing.... dbHunterNY
I've watched the show and if anyone has the most spirit it's that guy. I pray he'll recover enough to get back to the outdoors, again. He may not like it the idea, but I'd be happy to even see him in a pop-up ground blind and in a wheel chair with his long bow, than give it up.
