Thats right the taxidermist just called last night and said he was ready for my horns to come to the shop. Call me wierd but I never like leaving a nice set of horns at the shop for 5-6 months when I can keep them at home and enjoy them the whole time.

Well I took in my rub tree and we picked out a form where he will be mounted on a seperate post leaning into the rub tree. It will all be on one mount base with some natural grass and habitat involved.

I also took in the shed horn I found from this buck and told him to incorperate it into the base somewhere lying in the grass but still visable. He stated he loves it when he gets a challenge mount instead of the same ol thing.

In my opinion 162 class 10 point deserves a fitting display, I mean he made it 5 1/2 years before we met! LOL:D

Cant wait to see it Kirk. My cousin had a horror story with one of his heads. Took it to the same guy he used for years. Months and months went by with no response. The man had gotten involved with drugs and skipped town. My cousin had to get the cops to watch as he went in through the window to retrieve his half-finished Texas trophy. So, it's not always a bad idea to keep your horns, lol.
