Hoosier Hunter
Yesterday, I caught what I thought was a Rock Bass. It was the biggest I had ever caught. After looking at the pics, I'm not sure if it was a Warmouth or a Rock bass. I'm asking this because it could have been an Indiana Record Warmouth. Can anyone tell? Texan_Til_I_Die
That s actually a green sunfish. Yep. 100% sure it's not a warmouth and 95% sure it's not a rock bass.
redkneck
I always thought the warmouth was the same as a rock bass. Down here we call them goggle-eyes and are fun to catch but not very good for supper. Patterns on the fish vary a lot and even get really cool camo patterns on the eyes. Hoosier Hunter
Thanks for the replies guys! If it was a green sunfish, it was probably a state record. The record is 1 lb 10 oz.

backwoods07
Definitely a green sunfish. Look at the belly, the blueish stripes across the body, and the black dot on his gill.
