bluelund79
Picked up a NIB Savage Mark II-G for under $170 yesterday. Not the prettiest barrel on the gun, but the action is smooth for a bolt rimfire, and I love the accutrigger! Stock has some neat character in it too. I can't wait to get some bases, rings, and a scope for it! Going to try and get it out this weekend to get some rounds down the barrel to see how it shoots...I'll post some pics tonight when its completely cleaned! Shaun_300
Sounds good! Gotta love .22s for plinkin and taking care of some pests. I put a 3-9x32 on my .22, excellent little scope for the price of it.

bluelund79
Ah yes, the pics. Work is getting waaay tooo much of my time...Wish the photos did justice to the grain in the stock. Got some bases on order from Midway and now the search begins for a scope-can't decide between a variable or a fixed 4...Nothing fancy, this gun is for plinking and garden defense-10/22 doesn't like to eat the subsonics-and I wanted one of these types of 22lr for a while now too...
