BowJoe
I guess it really was inevitable. I think this only puts more pressure onto Jr. to win but who knows. It's a step in the right direction at least. I liked Eury Jr. and I think he is the right crew chief but maybe just not in the Sprint series and definitely not for Jr.'s #88. I'm glad Mr. Hendrick had the guts to make a change and I hope Jr. can adapt and not act like a spoiled brat by not getting along with the new crew chief. I just hope he finds somebody next year that he won't but heads with and Jr. will respect. If not, then I will not gripe when people say Jr. is a spoiled brat and the real problem. Then it will be proven. For now though, I'll always root for Jr. but I back Tony Stewart and his new teams 99.99%. I saving the little bit for Jr. to get back on track. He'll always be my sentimental favorite. I wish him the best of luck and hopefully he'll come out of this. Oh yeah Kat... I beat ya to this. LMAO!!!
Chrud
It is about time. I've been saying this for years...Eury Jr has got to go if Earnhardt Jr ever wants to be anything in the Cup Series. What folks aren't realizing is this combination has a total of 2 wins since the final 10 races of 2005.
tedicast
He should have been left at DEI!! When I heard Jr. was gonna be driving the "5" car, I was pumpe. That was a great team with Gustafson as crew chief. I wish he could have just jumped into the car with a team that was already proven. The_Kat
Agreed it's been a long long long time coming. Now we just need someone to show Jr what a pit box looks like.
JimT
There was no way he was missing his pits this week. Three banners, one being waved like it was in a hurricane. Hopfully Jr. and his new team can pull it all togather, and come in second to the #14 car...
camoman1
Its about time....I was wondering how many races of the other 3 Hendrick cars finishing in respectable spots it would take for Eury to get the boot. It seems like the 24,48 and the 5 can almost always make a car good enough to compete for at least a top 10. Now Jr has to prove that is was his crappy cars and poor pit decisions, not his lack of drive or skill, that was causing him to finish poorly. And hes gotta get that thing IN the pitbox everytime!!!!!!!
BowJoe
Can we all move past this missing the pit box crap? I mean jeez. It happened what 2 times if that? I've seen worse out of better drivers. Not a big deal. It was a mistake. What about drivers that miss pitting at all? That's just as bad. I don't care that people griped about it but just move on. That horse has been dead a long time.

Joe Joe, he did it twice in one race about 6 weeks ago. And he has done it the past three races...so yes it's a HUGE issue.

Not a big deal? If you are up in the top 15 and there are 30 cars on the lead lap and you miss your pit box, is that a big deal? Missing your pit box once will have you playing catch up all race long. And it has happened more than twice.
VABuckSlayer
I personally don't think Jr. is all that great a driver. As long as they can figure out how to make the car great he'll be ok. Heck I could drive a perfect car. I think Jr' struggles telling the crew chief what he needs and what the car is doing. I wouldn't put all the blame on Eury Jr. The change was needed though. Not sure if it's going to help much but we'll see. Oh yea... Jr. needs his eyes checked since he can't see his pit box!!! :D:D

I guess I will have to start pulling for either Tony Stewart or Kyle Busch!
