Turkeygirl
When you get something like a seed kernel thing stuck on the back of or throat or a tonsil....anyone ever done that? I hate some fudge yesterday with walnuts in it that the Amish made for mom....and the skin covering on a walnut got stuck on my throat so I was coughing and what not....still feels like it's there....but maybe it's just scratched....kind of annoying though:o
Tominator
Grandma always said to eat a piece of bread when that happens. Usually does the trick.

My Grandma told me the same thing and you are right it does work. Pop a piece of white bread in your mouth, chew it up and swallow. The stuck in your throat feeling will go away shortly. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 pieces of bread but have never needed more than that.
