Team Realtree
My one question to you all: You begin the season this fall (with a bow, gun or whatever). A 200 PLUS whitetail walks out for an easy shot, BUT you have a deal where if you take this unbelievable trophy, you give up all hunting rights for 5 years! Do you take that shot? OJR
No, I wouldn't shoot. I would just look at it and hope I had my camera with me!
Hardwood_HD
yea gotta say a 200" would be safe, but if it was a world record id probly shoot

ruttinbuc
I'd have to shoot. It has taken me how many years to not even see a 200 inch whitetail? I would shoot him and then pick up the camera for five years and probably not see another 200 inch Whitetail. Unless of course, I take the money I saved on the tags and licenses to travel and film/video/digitape where the big bucks roam. That would be a lot of money in 5 years the way it is going, eh? buckee
you give up all hunting rights for 5 years! Well, if it's just all hunting rights to that specific piece of land for 5 years , then I'd go for it, but if you're talkin ALL hunting rights .. period..then no-way Jose . I need my hunting. It's part of who I am.
The_Kat
No way, I'll shoot that 400 inch deer in the pen instead
ruttinbuc
No way, I'll shoot that 400 inch deer in the pen instead Sure go ahead....really up the odds!! Don't forget to take your wallet!!!! Well, if it's just all hunting rights to that specific piece of land for 5 years Gee, changing the rules already are ya? I know what you are saying though, bud! Part of who I am, too! Edited June 2, 2009 by ruttinbuc

Swamphunter
No... I would really love to have a huge mount on the wall, but you said ALL hunting, and its not worth it, as my son is just starting to learn to hunt.

randyoitker1
There is no way I would even consider it.If it is not legal it does not mean anything.
KirkV
Nope, the 200" could walk and I would continue to hunt !
Tominator
I don't think I could give up 5 years of hunting. On top of that, we have 200" deer around every tree in Ohio, or so I'm told by a couple Okie DB's. No shot here.
texastrophies
In a heart beat. If I could hit him, he would be dead. Then I will simply spend the next 5 years trying to get my son one that size. Heck, I enjoy opportunity to share my son's successes & failures in the field as much, if not more than my own. So yes I would take it. Bowtech_archer07
It has taken me a long time to even see a 200" whitetail.
