Tom2008
The only thing that I find fishy is how they had to show video of animals not from a ghost blind. I'm pretty sure in Video 3 they weren't hunting velvet bucks with green all around them and then change the camera to on the two guys in the fall leaves. They showed two turkeys in totally different terrain then what they were in. Every shot they took was filmed and they never showed what they were shooting at. I want to see some actual shooting with an animal. Not just the hunter shooting from the blind and thats it. I'm not saying that is isn't a fantastic idea or that it doesn't work, but I just don't like how they seemed to be faking how well it works. If they want to sell it they should show actual hunts from the blind with a few successful harvests. Not fake hunting scenarios showing velvet bucks in the summer and two hunters in November pretending to shoot at them. RTF
I agree Tom. I also have to say they are priced a bit high. I did some research and this company is not the only one out there that offers mirror hunting blinds.

wtnhunt
This topic has been posted a few times this year. Think we have a couple reps for that company who are members here too http://www.realtree.com/forums/member.php?do=getinfo&u=16166.

Tom2008
I don't like how you have to pop over the blind or around the side to shoot. If there was a better way to shoot then I'd try it. Animals can easily spot someone poppin over the top of something or around the side. I consider it luck if you don't get seen doing the action when they are right in front of you. So what if you have an animal come right up on you and they see their own reflection? Edited June 6, 2009 by Tom2008
Flintlock1776
VERY expensive. It'll be a few years before I could consider getting one, by then, hopefully, the price would be way down. Good luck to those that get one
GhostBlind Hunter
GhostBlind concealment I don't like how you have to pop over the blind or around the side to shoot. If there was a better way to shoot then I'd try it. We are currently working a new version of the GhostBlindâ„¢ that will add more shooting options from the blind, while still offering great concealment. So what if you have an animal come right up on you and they see their own reflection? An animal would have to be with in six or eight feet of the blind in order to see a reflection. Tom2008
That is awesome that you guys are designing a version like that. As for my last comment it was just a joke. I really do wonder what would happen though. I think it would a little confused haha.
VermontHunter
Ghostblind Hunter I just wanted to say KUDOS for taking the time to personally answer our questions. I'll never be able to afford such a blind, but it's still nice to learn about such products .. no less learn about them from the people that develope and use them .. MichiganHunter
looks pretty cool, to short for the tall guys, my head would stick a foot over the top, or i would have to sit straight on the ground.
GhostBlind Hunter
The GhostBlind Predator is 46" high and 102" across the top. The GhostBlind Phantom is 46" high and 51" across the top.
Flintlock1776
I got a good turkey this year and I used a nice $15 Primos Ground screen at Wal Mart. I could buy a cross bow with the money I would save over getting the Ghost Blind:phone: Good luck to those that get one.

perry37us
Ghost Blind Hunting Ok, I bought the ghost blind and have used it for 5 hunts. This is an honest review of the product. It works ok if you follow 1 rule when setting up. Rule #1: It can not be used on windy days even with the tie downs, I'm talking 10 mph is to much wind. It won't fall down, but will move back and forth and throw reflection. I even added 4 additional tie downs of my own but it did not help much. Notice the videos from the company never show windy conditions. We all know we will be hunting in the wind at least 50% of our hunts so in summary, the blind works, but do not count on using it as a primary blind system or you will be dissapointed. wildguy
Those are cool, but pricy!
Prairiepredator
It is a really cool idea, but pretty expensive. I honestly think if it is going to be that easy to get close to an animal, wouldn't it kind of take some of the fun away from hunting? The only thing I think I would use it for would be antelope.
