Jorden
Since it is a little slow around here lets take a little suvey. If you could only hunt one animal for the rest of your life what would it be. I would have to say if I could chase elk the rest of my life, that would be my choice. It is like a combination of turkey hunting and deer hunting, only with huge antlers:D. What would everyone else chose:confused:

fly
Whitetail easy. Why... 1. Season is longer. 2. You can hunt them all over the place "legally". 3. A lot more meat than a turkey. 4. Challenging but not near impossible to harvest a trophy 5. More affordable than other game you have mentioned. 6. I can take my kids. OJR
Elk! It can be tough, but until you have heard a bull elk bugle, you haven't lived!
Nickel
I would say deer for me. I was leaning toward elk but decided on deer. The reason I like deer hunting is that not any two deer are the same. Turkeys all look the same even though I thouroughly enjoy turkey hunting. Dakota
I voted turkey, but since elk hunting is a heckuva lot like turkey hunting just with larger and different animals that works right? :D:D I love hunting both equally as well as pronghorn. layin on the smackdown
I'd have to say white tails...Granted, its hard to beat a heck of a day in the duck blind with buddies and your dog, but nothings like hunting white tails...Its probably more addicting than crack. redkneck
There's a pinnacle in every persuit. Woodies coming in at sundown, beagles eating up a rabbit about to break in front of you, a gobble just over the ridge. Heck I love to hear an old bullfrog just around the bend when i'm hunting frogs. Just hard to beat the 4 months out of the year trying to outsmart a deer.

Rhino
This is the 1st time on one of these poles that I've given deer the edge. It's been a toss up for years between turkeys and bowhunting whitetails with spring gobblers winning out. I truly love my turkey hunting but for whatever reason I gave deer the edge this time. Turkey hunting just seems to be getting too easy for me when compared to hunting mature whitetails. I love a challenge. Fortunately, I'll never have to make a choice between the two. I agree; I love to hunt turkey and small game, but every deer is a little different which I think is why I like it so much. There is no other place I would rather be than in my treestand with my bow around the first or second week of November.

Adjam5
I really like turkey hunting and the interaction of calling and response, and I am sure Elk in the rut is the same. But I have never hunted Elk , so I can only speak of what I know. I'd hunt whitetail deer. I love venison way too much to trade it for a interactive gobble and a tough bird:D.
