MCH
Just saw the previews for the movie...it premieres August 7th. I'd have to say that this is probably the most anticipated movie I've seen come out in a while...at least for me that is. Snake Eyes was the MAN when I was growing up. Storm Shadow used to try to sneak up on him while he was just standing around on my living room floor...but Snake Eyes always came out on top. Hawk..Sgt. Slaughter...Beachhead....MAN guys! Movie will really bring back some memories!

gzilla45
I can't wait for this movie to come out either. I don't think a single day went by as a kid where I wasn't playing with my GI Joe's. I still have a box of them at my parent's house that one day I'll bring out. Hopefully they'll be worth some bucks. At least the ones that weren't blown up, torched, or shot. okiedog
Kevin, If you and your kids ever make it over to this part of the state, you will have to come check this place out http://www.actionfiguremuseum.com/main_page.htm. It is a couple of blocks from my store and is the only one like it in the world.

c_lou
I sure hope they do justice to Destructo, was that his name, the chrome headed guy. I hope they don't just paint some Vin Diesel look a like with silver paint.

ultratec1
We had G.I. Joes vs. Guts. The Guts were a down and dirty bunch of guys. LOL I also remember all the little green army guys I had. I betcha I had 400 of those little guys. Green, brown, gray even some red. Me and my friends would set up every guy we had. Well over 1,000 of them. Took all day and only 10 mins of a rock throwing battle to end it all. We tried it a couple times with G.I. Joes and Guts but they got DESTROYED when hit directly with a rock. Sometimes we even got real destructive and would hit them with the big red wiffle ball bat. Yeeeeppper those were the good ol' days.
