hutchies
We went out yesterday and a buddy of mine went with me. He was throwing a gray orange crawfish I think made by yum and catching quite a few bass. Nothing decent sized but at least they were biting. Ambuscher
I usually walk the bank before hopping into the boat just to see what needs to be thrown.
jerdanmagic
Go get some Paca Craws, made by Net Baits. They have a "Summer Craw" pattern that's the ticket. Walmart does not carry them, but Academy and BP do.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Right now, in the lakes that have a lot of hydrilla and other aquatic vegetation, the craws are grayish brown and in the lakes that are more rocky the craws have a reddish brown tint. They should molt before too long, so that will give them a pinkish tint for awhile.
