D Day

Good call Chuck. I've been so wrapped up in school ending and getting this house on the road, totally forgot.

We had a nice moment at graduation last night. As per usual, we all said the pledge of allegiance and sung the national anthem. 2,000 people all belting out that song, quite moving, then the principal recognized all servicemen and women by having them stand up. I was the only one on staff to stand.

Fourteen thousand young Canadians stormed Juno Beach on D-Day. Their courage, determination and self-sacrifice were the immediate reasons for the success in those critical hours. The fighting they endured was fierce and frightening.

I know a couple of men that were there that day, they don't like to talk much about it, but what they have said is unbelievable.

Thank You.
