Guest TennesseeTurkey
Working like a dog for that 125 hour check I spoke about back in the "tired thread", but then getting the check that paid me for those hours and making enough money to pay ALL of my bills for the month and still having enough to go to Red Lobster :D:D.... My wife still gets paid 2 more times this month and one more for me as well! .... As long as we stay this far ahead we should have no problem coming up with some money to put down on a house... Randy
It sounds like you have a good plan. The long days and weeks at work stink but the paychecks are always nice.
redkneck
Biggest week I ever had was about 96 hours working maintenance at coca-cola while in college (I was off for the summer). Makes you sick at the taxes you pay for a week like that.

ultratec1
Last pay period I had a 132 hr pay period. 92hrs one week and 40 the next. They took $198 in state tax and $702 in federal. Its nice to have the pay but the taxes kill ya. That exactly $900 in taxes out of one check. Not including medicare, retirement and other deductions the goverment gets. HUNTINGMAN
Haveing money is nice but its not everything, have to spend time with the family and have time alone to unwind. They may take alot of taxes out now but thanks to obama, that little stimulas thing where they dont take as much out of our checks,at the end of the year the government is not going to forget this, they will have there hand out to get back everything they have given you out of your check.
