bowhuntMN
Would you recommend a peep sight that does now have tubing? I'm currently using a peep with tubing but do not like that it takes away arrow speed since im only in the 50's for draw weight. I'd like to switch to the tubeless peeps but have heard that they can twist after a while. Can anyone help me out? Thanks for anything! Straight Shooter
There are several types of tubeless peeps on the market-Tru-peep, the G5 meta peep, and several other. They can be a pain in the rump to get them to align with every shot, but it can be done. I personally shoot the Tru-peep in all my bows and have all three to were I don't have to worry about their rotation on the shot. You will need a bow press handy when you get one of these types of peeps becuase it will require putting the bow into the press several times to get it right. That's the pain in the rump! Squirrelhunter91
G5 Meta Peep. Put one on my DXT when I bought it last year and absolutely love it. Not switching anytime soon.
HUNTINGMAN
I used the tubes for years and then switched to peeps without it,never will use the tube again. To many things can go wrong with the rubber tubes, they can break or get snagged on things and then you are out of luck if your in the woods.G5 meta peep, pre stretched strings, and propper tuneing are the way to go. Tom2008
The Tube peeps are going away fast and mostly everyone is switching to a G5 Meta Peep. Atleast the people that I know or convince to switch. Not that it matters, but it actually does increase your fps a little bit to switch to a Meta Peep. Your local pro shop can straighten it out with ease. No more rubber tubing to break when pulling back.
Brad6639
I use a Specialty Archery super peep, they are spendy but they are nice how you can change the aperture size for hunting or targets or indoors etc. If you have a decent string on your bow it shouldnt twist if its properly installed. My vapertrails twisted a little bit on the first shot and had to be adjusted, but after that it hasnt moved. The real difference isnt the peeps, its what its riding in(The string). I agree with this to a T. Specialty peeps have 3 diffrent appertures that you can replace WITHOUT changing the peep itself. Just unscrew the apperture and replace with one of the others. This post above pretty much said everything to I was going to say. Even about the strings!!!
