Squirrelhunter91
Seems like we have a bunch of new visitors to the yard this year. Last week I looked out the window and saw a red fox walk across the opening and figured it was just cruising through looking for a mouse or rabbit or something. Turns out that its a mother and 3 pups living in a groundhog den. I guess those 5 groundhogs I shot last year freed up the den for the fox. I was just out there and 2 of the 3 pups were sunning themselves and playing outside the den. But before I pulled the card out of the camera this morning, I went into my room and looked out the window. There was a red fox eating a fawn deers head in my yard. Literally inside the fence. Funny thing is that when I was falling asleep last night, I heard something bawling in the woods and thought nothing of it. I guess the fox found a fawn and killed it because it was definitely chewing on it like a bone you give your pet dog. Anyway.. I pulled the card earlier when the fox was gone out of the yard and discovered 2 pics from last night of the fox pups. The leader of the pack: All 3 pups: Then of course the Wide 8 came around later on: The Wide 8 is looking soooo nice. His G2's are bulbing as you can see. The red fox family is just a bonus. I cannot wait for October.
woolybear
Oh man he is looking SUPER! I can feel your excitement already. Hopefully he can avoid the highway enough to give you a chance at him this season. Is a roadway a concern where he's at right now?

Canuck2
Nice. Cute fox pups. As for the buck, does he seem stuck on 8 or is it possible he'll sprout 1 or 2 more this year?
Squirrelhunter91
Canuck.. He's been stuck on 8 since he was 2 1/2 in 2006. Probably not going to be anything bigger. Maybe a few nontypical points that are common with age, but he's always been an 8.

Adjam5
Is a roadway a concern where he's at right now? Well these signs are posted about 300 yards away. A homeowner on the other side of the woods puts them up and keeps count. This deer has lived this long I believe he knows how to cross the road:D
