Hoosierbuck
Dear God- Sometimes our faith in things-and people of this world are shown to be misplaced. In this time of hardship and sorrow for Brad, please send your Holy Spirit to Brad to remind him that the God who saw him through his explosion and rehabilitation is the same faithful God who will carry him through this and every other obstacle in his life. Let the hope that is ours in Jesus be enough for Brad, for now, and always. Continue to bless him and heal his body and heart. In Jesus' name we ask this, AMEN. Tink
Another warrior suicide at BAMC SundayAnother soldier was found dead Sunday night at the Warrior Transition Unit ( WTU @ BAMC Ft SamTX) The trooper, aged 24, was from Covington KY and was Assigned to the 204th Engineers of the LA National Guard when he was wounded 3 months ago. the Army doesn't know why or how he died, That's the 3rd suicide recently One March 26 and another April 7th the WTU is where they keep soldier that still need treatment but don't need to stay In bed all day. When a Wounded Warrior takes his own life, he kills a little of every ones soul attached to the unit, his family and the staff of Docs, nurses, aides, officers, social workers, and us volunteers. We all feel his pain. One one really know what they go thru and the rehab is worse than the actual shooting IED. most of the time they can't remember the IED mine or RPG blast. they only remember bullet wounds. Lets all pray for all the war wounded and the walking wounded whose scars we cannot see or fix. This is what Operation Bows and Heroes is all about. Helping those men find their way home again TinkExec DirectorWWW.Operationbowsandheros.com
