BowJoe
Well, here's the back story to my friend's pic she posted on MySpace. I wanted to see if I was right about her shooting form in this pic not to mention I wanted to let ya'll know that her husband designs Hoyt Bows. He's an engineer and I think they live in Utah. I don't really keep up on that brand. She and I used to work at the same hospital together and he wanted me to join the local chapter of Rocky Mt. Elk Foundation. I still talk to her on MySpace but last I heard, they were on shakey ground. I told her I would be willing to do field testing for them but I might be a little bias just because I love Matthew's. Anyway, I think her form is a little off. What's ya'lls opinion?

Guest Finn
I'm no expert, but the draw length is about 2" too long. That makes her lock her right arm. Looks like she's leaning her head into it a little too. Like I said, no expert, that's just what I can see.

JimT
She is overdrawn for sure. My girlfriend had a hard time finding a consistant anchor with that style release as well. Switched to a Scott Mongoose and problem solved. Thats why the Tru-Ball is for sale in the classified.
HUNTINGMAN
DRaw length is to long and she is shooting left handed.

layin on the smackdown
whats with the pinky lol..... Pinky???? Im wondering how her elbow can bend up like that...The first time i saw the pic i thought her elbow was bent outward, but after all the comments about her draw being too long, i noticed that her elbow is pretty much hyperextended to some abnormal degree...WOW!!! looks painful. Shaun_300
Not an expert here either, but it sure looks like the draw length is way too long to me too.
snapper
Yep...def. overdrawn! Shorten it up a good 1 1/2 to 2 inches. As for her arm....have her hold her arm to her side (elbow pointing outward)...then lift her arm straight up with her elbow still pointing out. She's wearing an arm guard because she's hitting her arm...2 reasons why...she's overdrawing the bow and her elbow is rotated down instead of out, causing her forearm to stick out further than it should. dbHunterNY
Her form needs quite a bit of improvement. I'm surprised she has not had enough direction to correct it. However, her form shouldn't be on trial so much as to not realize that she's still shooting a bow. The more people that aren't the typical redneck dude that can gain an interest in archery the better. - Dan
Hoytguy
Needs to work on her vertical stance. She's lazy in the right leg. Obvious her draw length is too long. Stand so both feet equalize her weight at shoulder width apart.
