muggs
Of the 15 players to hit the most HRs from 1993 thru 2004, 10 have been linked to performance enhancers...5 have not. Those are Griffey Jr., Jim Thome, Jeff Bagwell, Frank Thomas, and Carlos Delgado. Of these 5, who do you suspect also used steroids? I think Jr. is clean, probably Thome and possibly Delgado...but that's it and I'm not sure about Thome or Delgado either. Really, hearing Griffey's name linked to 'roids is really the only one that would shock me out of that list. Bagwell is a no doubter, and I think Thomas is too. How about you? craig mack
I think everyone but Jr. When I see guys with forearms the size of my thigh, I become suspicous.
gzilla45
i'd like to think all of them didn't but that probably isn't true. Of that list I would think Thomas and Griffey are probably clean.
Guest Finn
I think Griffey is the only clean one.
The_Kat
I think they've all used........I'd put money on it.
c_lou
If I was a betting man, I would say Griffey and Thomas. Thomas was big when he came into the league.

Who's to say he didn't use roids to get into the league though. I remember when the whole roid use story broke, some minor leaguer said something along the line of "you think it's bad in the majors? imagine how it is in the minors where everyone is trying to make it to the majors." It makes sense...heck, look at Pujols, he was big when he came up too and I'd put everything I own on the fact that he uses.
rhine16
I say Griffey is definitely clean. I'd like to think the other four are; however, I'd put good money on Bags having used em. I'm just not sure on Thome, Delgado, or Thomas.
buckbuster11
Bagwell Thomas and Delgado. Definately Bagwell.
VABuckSlayer
I would say all of them! I don't know why people would think Griffey is clean? I know everyone likes him but... There is nobody playing ball today that would surprise me if they were found out to be using. I don't know how baseball deals with it really when it comes to HOF voting. Sammy Sosa never has been "caught" with anything or proved to be a user... does he get in??? On numbers yes but I would bet my house that he used steriods!!! A former pro baseball player told me that almost all of the players that go to play winter league in mexico and venezuela use roids while theyre there because its easy to get and will be out of yor system by the time you get back to the us so it wont show up in tests. I think just because there's been no massive body change with Jr. and he has the purest swing in the history of baseball. I think he's a natural talent, much like a Mantle or an Aaron or Mays. No question in my mind he is natural.

I agree with you but I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me if he was found out to be using too. I hope not though. I like him as well and he does have a sweet swing! It's a shame he had so many injuries during the latter part of his career or he would have for sure been the Home Run King!!!
unioncountyslayer
I hope Griffey never used, but honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he did. Just think about all those injuries he had. That's the only thing that makes me suspicious about Jr. Who thought, before it came out that A-Rod used. I'd bet not many.

Alot of players used roids to recover quicker and Jr never seemed to recover from his injuries.
