VABuckSlayer
Wonder what the big Chevy teams are going to do with out the support from GM? If this keeps on then there will probably be a lot of new Toyota teams soon. Same thing with Dodge on the Cup side. RPM looks like they are trying to work with Toyota for next year. What a bad situation for Nascar! http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/headlines/bg/06/12/gm.cuts.nationwide.truck.support/index.html
OJR
I think this is just the "tip of the iceberg!" Racing is not going to be the only sport that is going to be affected!
Chrud
The "end" of NASCAR was in 2001. With the loss of support from the manufacturers, this could very well be the official end of NASCAR. I'm pretty sure the truck series will be ended within a couple years. The Busch, I mean Nationwide, Series will likely turn all Toyota, or have several races with less than 43 cars. AdvantageTimberLou
Brian France, CEO of NASCAR has not ruled out letting more foreign auto makers into NASCAR. GM will downsize in the Sprint side too, that will be announced at a later date.
