KirkV
Has anybody had any chance to use them on big game? They are designed to be used with elk, moose etc. I am using my muzzle loader in Alaska for the moose hunt this year and think I am going to the bonded 250 grain with my 150 grains of powder. The standard shockwave shoots great with that load and the ballistic tip holds nice patterns out past 200 yards. Now I just want that bonded bullet to break the moose down! Thanks Kirk
wtnhunt
Maybe Leo might have some insight on bullets for you Kirk, he is pretty sharp. Only concern I think I would have on those longer shots would be whether or not you are going to have enough energy.
KirkV
Yeah William I am going to have to hold it to 200 yards or closer to get the accuracy I want anyway, but I will PM Leo. Thanks
wtnhunt
Kathleen told me shots under 100 yards are a real possibility, on bears possibly as close as 50. The girls have been practicing off the bipod sitting position out to about 165 yards. Little different for them than shooting from a rest.
