jesse8953
My brother and I went to my taxidermist to drop off a duck he wants to get mounted.I had been told from my buddy that the taxidermist might have a jake decoy for sale.A guy wanted it done but never picked up.He has had it done over a year and called the guy several times and gets no responce.I asked him how much? and he told me I could have it.What a deal.He is doing my deer and 2 turkeys for me.I just met this guy in December.Don't meet very many people like that these days. This thing has a freeze dried head, the fan moves up and down and he spins when the wind blows. He used a piece of pvc and told me to stick it on a old arrow. This thing works great I tried it out in the wind today.I can't wait till next spring to try it. WHISKEYSWAMP
sounds like you got a great deal to me... I'd like to make a real decoy myself sometime.
woolybear
Glad he didn't make you pay for it. Hope your mounts turn out a little better than that. Looks like:chair: He'll make a super deke though!
jesse8953
His mounts look great. He only chargeres $100 or $125 for decoys. He does not make them showroom condition because they take a beating. This decoy was beat up this year by a big tom.
