Funny, I dont see any Browns fans threads in here or any other team for that matter.

Wonder why?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because we're not DB's John. wink.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

And we're not pretentious enough to start such a DB thread, we know they suck, they've sucked for years, and we're OK with it. Well, I'm OK with it, Eric is still experiencing some denial, but he's young, even though he does have a new leaf blower, that he blow dries his cat with while playing house with his wife.

Oh no, its the RT Handicapped Comedy Hour...

Slow down guys, don't get ahead of yourselves. Chris, how many times do I have to tell you negative thinking isn't gonna help anything. The Brown's will be there soon enough. At least they're buidling in the right direction instead of slowly fallling apart like the Stillers.

Check me if I'm wrong here John, but this has to be the worst start any team has gotten off to after winning a Super Bowl isn't it? I mean, historically the worst right?

I'll look into it.

Re: The Offical Realtree Pittsburgh Steelers Threa

But the question still remains! How many Superbowls? LOL! Its always easier to kick a winner, but they suck now, so what!

You know, it gets a little sickening with your name calling. Which is one of the reasons I try to stay out of this room. By the way, you seem to spend a lot of time in this post lately. So maybe you are a wanna be DEAD BEAT?

One in my lifetime Chris. The franchise won it in Baltimore though, all thanks to one man's greed. His lack of business savy didn't help his cause either.

I wonder how long it would take the Steelers to rebuild if Rooney decided to hijack the team to another city. Of course Rooney's a class act and wouldn't do that, but how long?

This joke of a franchise isn't the Browns. Its the "New Browns" and even after years of mismanagement and getting screwed by the league...they still have the same record as the defending Super Bowl Champs...and I love it.

The difference being of course, that the Steelers are the defending Super Bowl Champions and the Browns are not, and have never been.

You see muggs, the Steelers hit rock bottom maybe twice a decade, they have missed the playoffs 4 times since 95, while your Browns have spent most of my lifetime at rock bottom. Thats the difference. wink.gif

Re: The Offical Realtree Pittsburgh Steelers Threa

Like I said John, the Brown's franchise was one of the most storied franchises in all of football. That franchise died in 1994 though. Even still, they're still #3 all time in championships...that's impressive enough. Sure, it wasn't called the Super Bowl back then, and Janet Jackson didn't show body parts at halftime amid all the other hype.

If I remember correctly, a few short years before Modell shipped them out of town they were pretty much a perrenial playoff team, especially in the 80's when the Stillers were nothing.

All I know is the Stillers need 3 more to match the Browns (not the neo Browns) and they'll need 3 after this season too.

LMAO!! You guys are a riot. Let me ask you something, did you actually watch the Steelers play on Sunday? Or any of their games this season?

You predicted that Ben's career is over. He's having a pretty bad year, I'll give you that. But, I'm pretty sure that 3 years from now he'll still be playing QB for the Steelers and not bagging groceries like some of you guys think.

I watched the whole game Sunday. Do you really think Ben will survive to play for 5 more years? That kind of beating week after week will take a toll on him. frown.gif
