Re: Coyote contest?????

[ QUOTE ]

I am assuming the contest would be based not on the number of animals killed but on the quality of the pelt or such?

[/ QUOTE ]

No we are going to use a point system. You get points for each predator, and a different amount of points for each coyote, fox or bobcat.

Re: Coyote contest?????

Sounds like a great idea, we arre working out the finall rules and regs and checkin with the boss man we will let you know how things are goin! As per prizes we are not sure it may be a pic of me and a coyote and jcwa and a bobcat, I know it would be a great prize so we will keep it in mind! Like jcwa said we are not involved we will keep score and be the official realtree judges of the contest lol!!

Great idea guys!

Re: Coyote contest?????

Try to get it worked out quick!!!! My bobcat season ends in two weeks and I will have to get another 3 pack of tags. I've had a heck of a time with the yotes lately but the bobcats are coming out of the woodwork.

After seeing that picture of those big ugly SOB's that you took with your friend I wish we had them here. Those are awesome! How do they taste? Just like pork? Please don't say chicken. wink.gif

Pork--the other white meat. The meat on the big boars have a good flavor--just a little tough. The smaller hogs (less than 150#) taste absolutely great. Just as good if not better than store bought pork.
