I know the feeling brother.............I got 3 kids and a wife in college that I refuse to let work til she graduates. What little money is left at the end of the week is normally getting ahead for next week.

BTW.........the link is to a song by Darryl Whorley. The song is titled "Sounds like Life to Me".

Man I know the feeling. I was paid up on everything until my hospital bills started rolling in.

Wheeeeeewwwwwwwww I know that feeling. After all the doctors bills came in from my appendix surgery it was over $41,000................and I was only in there less than 18 hours.:48::2guns::2guns::argue:

I know the feeling dude. Medical bills stacked up on me too, but making progress on getting all the smaller ones paid off, just got some BIG ones I'll be paying notes on for a while to come. My propane tank went dry yesterday, wife's got to have wheel bearings and ball joints.... blah, blah, blah!

Life's good, but it's also expensive!

There is a bright side to this Joe, your tank is full. If oil starts to climb you won't have to worry about filling the tank in September and getting a larger bill. I fill the tank every June and almost always I save money.

Hope you catch up soon buddy!

I hear ya as well, living pay check to pay check is how most of the world lives

There always seems to be something pop up that cost $$$ when you least expect it and don't want it to

One thing that is good is............. we don't have to deal with huge medical bills here in Canada.............. we're just taxed to death.

pretty much paycheck to paycheck..... i was living at home 2 years ago with lots of money and moved in with my girlfriend and her daughter..... any extra money goes to savings and IF we go out it is not very often. I went to see brad paisley last weekend now i am broke for a week and a half. I am paid every other week!

I finally am doing fairly well. I got divorced just over three years ago and inherited $27,000.00 in debt. I am now down to just under $6000.00. I could have taken the easy road and filed but decided to dig myself out. Alimony is up in eight months and I hope to have the debt down to under $4000.00 by then. Should be able to pound that out next year. My goal is not to owe anyone a dime {except my snowmobile payment, thats like having a food bill, haha} when I hit 40. Thats in 20 months. Hope to buy a camp then.... See how it goes I guess. All this overtime that I work is a killer. Really getting burn't out, but I cannot stop now!!!

Nope, you are not the Lone Ranger. I try to take it one day at a time. Being out of work I have cut back on a few things. I refuse to roll over and die because of it. I am fortunate to have most things paid off. I have some in reserve for the "just in case" stuff. Even with the limited income I am able to afford a few pleasures. My recent trip only cost me the gas to get there and back and lunch money. Life is too short. You are born in debt, live in debt and leave the world.... dead.

Know what you mean Joe. I see several places I know we have money going out like needing new tires on my 3/4 ton truck and stuff related to this hunt my wife and daughter are going on, and then we have unexpected expenses hit us. Bad thing is some of the unexpected stuff comes up after you make other commitments. We closed on a loan to build a new house last week, really was not expecting our 3 year old to need an emergency tonsilectomy, with the co pays and deductible I am figuring that is going to be pretty costly. Fortunately I left us some cushion with the money we got on our loan, but that was for covering unexpected costs associated with the home.
